About our Doctors

Amy B. Maxwell, DDS, born and raised in Petoskey, MI, graduated from Hillsdale College in 2004, and graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2008. In 2010, she received a Masters in Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with her thesis, "Oral Health Education for Families Enrolled in the WICK Program - An Evaluation". She also completed sub-specialty training in pediatric dentistry receiving a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

Dr. Maxwell practiced and taught pediatric dental residents as a clinical lecturer at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry upon graduating in 2010. She had a joint appointment as she also practiced as clinical staff at the Mott Childrens' Health Center in Flint, MI providing dental care to an under-served population.

Dr. Maxwell has been active in the American Dental Association (ADA), Michigan Dental Association (MDA), American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD).

Swati M. Rastogi, DDS, born in Royal Oak, MI and raised in Troy, MI, graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002, the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2006. In 2008, she received a Masters in Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with her thesis, "General Dentist and Infant Oral Health Exams - An Interventional Study". She also completed sub-specialty training in pediatric dentistry receiving a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

Dr. Rastogi practiced and taught pediatric dental residents as a clinical lecturer at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry upon graduating in 2008. She had a joint appointment as she also practiced as clinical staff at the Mott Childrens' Health Center in Flint, MI providing dental care to an under-served population. She was presented with the Straffon Teaching Award in December 2011.

She has been active in the American Dental Association (ADA), Michigan Dental Association (MDA), American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD).

Susan H. Carron, DDS, an Ann Arbor native, graduated from Michigan State University in 1973, the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1977, and received an M.S. in Pediatric Dentistry in 1979. She has been in private practice limited to pediatric dentistry since graduation, and is a Fellow in the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Carron taught part time in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Michigan for 15 years.

She has been active in Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity - locally and nationally, Shalom Chapter of Hadassah of Metropolitan Detroit, Delta Dental of Michigan - Board of Directors, Michigan Specialties President Council, University of Michigan School of Dentistry - Alumni Board, March Reading Month at Novi elementary schools, Mentor to Girls in Science for Livonia Schools and "Give Kids a Smile".

Dr. Carron is presently active in the Michigan Dental Foundation, Renaissance Health Service Corporation Corporate Board, Detroit Alumni Chapter of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and University of Michigan K.A. Easlick Graduate Pediatric Dentistry Society and mentor to dental and dental hygiene students.

All three of our Doctors are Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and are licensed specialists and active in the Michigan Dental Association, and the Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Susan Carron is on staff at Providence Hospital and participate with the Cranial-facial Anomalies and Cleft Palate Team.

Our Doctors have memberships in the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Detroit District Dental Society, Oakland County Dental Society, American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Ms. Patricia (Pattie) Kahn. is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
Ms. Billie Stearn-Raskin is a graduate of Lansing Community College.
